Un Garçon et sa Bête (A Boy and his Beast)

" Un Garçon et sa Bête" ("A Boy and His Beast") is a student-made film created during an LCAD Summer Animation Master Class with stop motion animator, Stephen Chiodo.

My role started as writer and storyboard artist. I also worked on character designs, painted several puppet characters' faces, edited both the animatic and final film, did sound design, and animated several scenes.

During the writing process I worked collaboratively with the team developing the story based on the director’s pitch. We developed the treatment and outline over the course of several story meetings. Then I wrote the script based on the outlined beats, making it ready for boarding, shooting, and recording dialogue.
